This diptych is part of my geometric abstractions series. It is a composition based on the theme of a 3 by 4 grid. It has ties to my African and Native American ancestors’ preoccupation with geometric pattern work. This diptych speaks of the central role the circle plays in the structure of our many and varied cosmological maps.
