Artist: Lorrin Brubaker
Lorrin Brubaker is a photographer whose work focuses on both street photography and portraiture. There’s no doubt that Lorrin’s background in movement influences his artistic eye. The Florida native fell in love with dance at age ten and later went on to earn his BFA from The Juilliard School in New York City. After graduating in 2017, Lorrin moved to Los Angeles to work as a professional dancer. While juggling life as a freelance artist with BODYTRAFFIC, Jacob Jonas The Company, and L.A. Dance Project, Lorrin discovered his passion for photography. Lorrin is currently the In House Photographer of L.A. Dance Project and loves capturing BTS of the company at work. Lorrin’s photos have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Voyage LA, Insider, Leica Gallery LA, Zadig & Voltaire, LA Dance Project, Visual Therapy NY, Forecast Journal, and 201 Magazine. He’s also assisted recognized photographers such as Jesse Lirola, Josh Rose, Pete Halvorson, and Kat Westerman.
