Starrbooty for President is my homage to RuPaul. His glamour, fierceness, and kindness are an inspiration. Ru has been performing as Starrbooty since before they were famous, and it captures the RuPaul of the club days in NYC, before Super Model hit and he became a household name. This piece is part of a series I have been working on over time, of large scale portraits of LGBTQ+ icons.
