Ivan Moscovich

A survivor of four concentration camps, including Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen, the extraordinary Ivan Moscovich went on to become the founding director of the Museum of Science and Technology in Tel Aviv and, in 1967, patented his Harmonograph. The unique drawings produced from the Harmonograph, called “Harmonograms,” have been exhibited around the world, starting in 1968 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and including the International Design Centre in Berlin, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Didacta Exhibitions in Basel and Hanover, and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
