Raquel Natalicchio is a staff visual journalist for The Houston Chronicle, focusing on social justice-based issues and community-driven stories. She is passionate about education and community-building and has contributed to both through projects such as developing photography curricula for teen girls and producing panel talks and exhibitions for the L.A. photography community. A member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo, and The National Press Photographers Association, Raquel’s latest artistic endeavor, “Borderlands,” explores the rich diversity of experiences among border communities along the US/Mexico border.
